Kendrick Lamar hinted that he might be releasing an album and his fans are freaking out. This morning, Kendrick deleted all his Instagram posts before posting a new picture. The picture, which was a black screen with a roman numeral “IV” and no caption at the bottom.
Afterward, fans came to the conclusion that K.Dot is starting on a new album. The picture makes sense after his interview with T Magazine at the first of the month. Speaking on his next album, he emphasizes on how the project is “very urgent”. Lamar also emphasized how on what his focus is now. Following from

“I think now, how wayward things have gone within the past few months, my focus is ultimately going back to my community and the other communities around the world where they’re doing the groundwork. ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ was addressing the problem. I’m in a space now where I’m not addressing the problem anymore,” he said. “We’re in a time where we exclude one major component out of this whole thing called life: God. Nobody speaks on it because it’s almost in conflict with what’s going on in the world when you talk about politics and government and the system.”
As a result, Kendrick is one of the big headliners of Coachella which could mean this summer would be the perfect time to debut new music.
