Kelly Oubre is not one to shy away from out of the box fashion statements, on and off the NBA courts. He’s regarded as one of the NBA’s most fashionable players along with Russell Westbrook and a few others. The Washington Wizards young wingman was under review earlier this season for wearing a coat to a game that had expletives all over it. Last night against the Brooklyn Nets, he got some help from a staff member to potentially avoid another fine from the league.
Oubre sported a Supreme leg sleeve on the court in the Wizards road game against the Brooklyn Nets.

The sleeve itself had the NBA logo on it and was a collaboration from Nike. Oubre got a ton of love online for his choice of on-court fashion choice. But despite the fanfare he received, the NBA seemed to not enjoy his decision too much. Oubre says a trainer told him he has to take it off and the 22-year-old ‘Wave Papi’ wondered if it was because he is too wavy.
Following comes according to Candace Buckner of the Washington Post.
“They made me change it. It was just when I got informed through one of our trainers. He was like, ‘switch leg sleeves.’ So I switched.”

“They shouldn’t have dropped it if we can’t wear it and it has an NBA logo on it. I play in the NBA, right,” Oubre said. “I should be able to wear the logo of what I represent. So I don’t really understand the move behind it. But it’s just something wavy, honestly. I don’t know if it’s too wavy for them. But I was just having fun.”
