What do we have here? It’s a new music from one of 2015’s rising stars. This year has seen the rise of plenty of new and promising acts that are introducing new and innovative approaches to the music they are creating and gifting to the world. Among these artists is California’s own, Kehlani. Offering an interesting approach to the R&B genre, Kehlani is setting herself up to have an even better year in 2016 than she has had this year. Fresh off the release of her honest and heartache filled record, ‘Tore Up,’ Kehlani finds herself dropping more music and changing the pace for her growing fan base. Deemed as ‘Did I,’ Kehlani brags on her hustle and touches on time wasted as she swags out over the haunting but bass-driven Pop & Oak produced track. Dropping a few bars and gliding back into the vocals fans have grown to love, it’s fair to say that Kehlani has a winner on her hands.
