Keanu Reeves is reportedly developing a four-part documentary about Formula 1 for Disney+. The untitled documentary will reportedly highlight the career of Formula 1 managing director Ross Brawn, who renamed the Honda team and led it to two unprecedented championship victories. Throughout the project, Reeves will sit down with Brawn, Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo and several drivers, including Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello.
Reeves is best known for his roles in The Matrix and John Wick, but he reportedly has had an interest in racing for some time now. He even helped found a motorcycle manufacturing company with Gard Hollinger called Arch Motorcyle. Variety describes him as a “speed freak with an extensive motorcycle collection.”
Beyond his work with Disney+, Reeves is also working to complete the next two John Wick films as well as BRZRKR. He is also set to appear in the upcoming mini-series, The Devil in the White City. The limited series will follow the story of an architect during the World’s Fair and a serial killer who uses the event as an opportunity to take lives. The project is rumored to be in pre-production, but there is no word as to when it will air.
