Kawhi Leonard Looking To Play Friday Vs. Blazers
Kawhi Leonard is still the San Antonio Spurs’ leading scorer at 15.2 points per game followed by Tim Duncan at 15.1. The Spurs have been without Leonard, the 2014 NBA Finals MVP, since December when he tore a ligament in his right hand.
The latest update was that Kawhi would be ready in several weeks, and now it looks like he’ll give it a go against Portland on Friday.

The Spurs are nowhere close to their 2014 championship selves barring injuries like Leonard’s. They’re 24-16 at seventh place in the deadly West with plenty of time to start playing their best basketball. Getting Kawhi Leonard back is the key to trying to make that happen.
