Rookie of the Year, Karl-Anthony Towns has become a game changer for the Minnesota Timberwolves, helping them finally center their franchise around Towns and their young core. The 2015 1st overall pick Towns represented the Wolves in the NBA Draft Lottery, which landed them the 5th overall pick and during the lottery he chimed in on the draft and the involvement of his high school team-mate and Vanderbilt guard Wade Baldwin.
The 6’4 Vanderbilt guard averaged 14.1 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1.2 steals, and is projected to go in the 1st round, and Towns knows he has skills. KAT and Baldwin played in high school together in New Jersey, and now that Towns is in the NBA, he is letting teams know of Baldwin’s potential.

Obviously he might not have the explosiveness and athletic ability of Russell Westbrook, but the resemblances are clear. If you want to take a better look at Baldwin’s game, check out this video of his highlights from the 2015-2016 season (Via JustBombsProduction):
Although the Wolves don’t have a draft pick to select Baldwin in the mid-1st round, Towns is probably hoping he has Baldwin on his team, because this guy can flat-out score the basketball.
