By now, everyone knows that Kanye West does whatever he wants. Whether it’s in the interest of the public and his fans or completely against both, Kanye simply doesn’t care. With that being said, in true Kanye fashion, the singer has shared two new, but familiar, tracks via his official Soundcloud profile. The familiarity of the records come in form of The Weeknd’s ‘Tell Your Friends’ and Kanye’s 808s & Heartbreak cut, ‘Say You Will.’
As ‘Tell Your Friends’ was produced by Kanye West, it appears that ‘When I See It’ could have been the initial track pitched to The Weeknd for his Beauty Behind The Madness album. One can only imagine how and/or why the verse was left off the final version of the record. Next up, Kanye shared a new version of ‘Say You Will,’ which now features Caroline Shaw. Laced with additional harmonies and background vocals, this 2015 version of ‘Say You Will’ is a welcomed addition alongside the original. In this moment, Kanye has left us all scratching our heads as to what his true purpose is for this Soundcloud page. Nevertheless, whatever he has up his sleeve, we’re more than here for.
