The Glastonbury Festival dates back to as early as the 1970’s beginning the day after Jimi Hendrix died (RIP). You fast forward some 40+ years and we are here now in 2015 and the festival is still going strong.
Taking place in the United Kingdom you would have to imagine any artist with a strong fan base would bless the stage at least once in their historic career.
Well it was just announced that Kanye West for the first time ever will headline the GlastoFest 2015 (Glastonbury Festival 2015) on the pyramid stage that Saturday. Also on the bill for this already sold out affair is the Foo Fighters & Lionel Richie.
According to GlastoFest official site, more artist will be announced in the Spring.
The event is expected to take place June 24, 2015 – June 28, 2015.
