A little over a week ago, to the pleasure and excitement of many, Kanye dropped off new music and delivered what some are calling his best work in recent years. Linking up with Ty Dolla $ign for ‘Real Friends,’ it was apparent from the record that Kanye had not lost his touch on the producing or rapping side of things. At the end of the record was a snippet of ‘No More Parties In L.A.,’ featuring Kendrick Lamar, that had caused just as much waves as the new tune that Yeezy just released. Hearing the two come together, many were left wondering just when the full record would arrive. Well, today is the day as Kanye West has made up for missing this past Friday’s “G.O.O.D. Friday” drop and has officially released “No More Parties In L.A.” To put things simply, Kanye and Kendrick Lamar snapped. Elevating into a different atmosphere, if there were any doubts if Kanye could keep up with Kendrick on a record, he’s put that speculation to rest. Holding true to Kendrick fashion, the rapper maneuvers himself all throughout the production and delivers another stellar verse. In true Kanye fashion, the rapper speaks on everything from women promoting themselves on Instagram to shouting out Cam’ron due to North West’s pink fur. Nevertheless, if there were any concerns on the mind-state of Kanye heading into SWISH, any negative thoughts should be thrown out the window as Kanye is pushing out some of his best work to date.
