
Kanye West announces his highly anticipated album Jesus Is King has an official release date of October 25.
Tweeting an image of the album on vinyl, Kanye West solidifies a release date, after his wife Kim Kardashian shared the same news almost a month ago. Back in September, Mrs. West announced the album would drop September 27th however, the day came and went without a new Kanye Album.
Since then, Kanye West has held listening events and his Sunday Service sharing music from the project. A tracklist shared by Kim Kardashian back in August revealed 12 tracks, with zero listed features and all religious in theme. Following the listening parties, attendees report a collaboration featuring The Clipse and Kenny G.
The album, due Friday, is not the only new Kanye West art fans will hopefully enjoy this weekend. Deadline reports the IMAX film Jesus Is King debuts on select screens October 25 before expanding to additional markets this November.
