Kanye West has been hosting Sunday Service over the last couple of months, which includes weekly performances by a live band and gospel choir.
This Sunday’s Service was a special tribute to Nipsey Hussle. West played a snippet of an audio clip that features Hussle speaking words of encouragement.
“Just wanted to send some words of encouragement. Y’all stay focused, y’all keep working hard. Believe in y’all self. Prove everybody that doubts y’all wrong. Show up every day. Stay pure. Stay motivated. Stay smart. Show love to your people.”
Soon after, the choir began singing a series of songs including “Forgiven” by 2 Chainz and Marsha Ambrosius. Kanye West joins J. Cole and Big Sean who also honored the late rapper this weekend. Cole and Sean paid tribute to Hussle during Dreamville Festival on Saturday.
