Kansas Jayhawks’ center Joel Embiid has enter his name into the NBA draft, according to Yahoo Sports. I can’t say this isn’t a shock since Embiid was projected as the top pick for the second half of the season. His game is still very raw considering he started playing basketball at 16.
But you can’t teach height, right?
Many NBA executives fall in love with this logic; are they wrong for believing this? No. The verdict is still out on Joel Embiid. What is impressive: 11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks on limited playing experience. So yes, his ceiling is high enough to high-five Jesus himself, and once the back issues clear up we’ll all know if Embiid was worth it.
