Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to appear on Club Shay Shay with three-time Super Bowl Champion and First Take Co-Host Shannon Sharpe. The interview is expected to premiere on YouTube on Monday, October 28.
Harris has leaned into the pop culture sphere heavily in recent weeks. Most notably, she has welcomed Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Eminem and Usher at rallies in Texas, Georgia and Michigan. In addition, she has sat down for interviews with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson of All The Smoke, Charlamagne Tha God of The Breakfast Club and Alex Cooper of Call Her Daddy.
While Harris has broadened her media run to include platforms like All The Smoke, Club Shay Shay and The Breakfast Club, some of her choices have been criticized. More specifically, some of her supporters raised issue with her decision to sit down for an interview with The Shade Room. However, Harris-Walz Campaign Black Media Director Jasmine Harris has defended their media strategy, saying the goal is “to reach Black Americans where they are at and engage with Black communities across the country through diverse mediums on the issues that matter most to them.”
