Kam Chancellor once threatened to hold out from practicing with the Seattle Seahawks in hopes of a new contract. About two years later, Chancellor is getting his wish and getting that contract extension.
Chancellor will remain with the Seahawks as an integral member of the Seahawks ‘Legion of Boom’. The star safety is signing a three-year, $36 million extension to remain with the team.
Following comes from Josina Anderson of ESPN.

The 29-year-old was entering the last year of his contract in 2017, but the new deal he signed will keep him with the organization through the 2020 season. He’s been to two Super Bowls with one victory, was named to the Pro Bowl four times and an All-Pro twice. Chancellor is a pivotal member of the Seahawks defensive secondary unit.
In 2016, Chancellor bounced back after an up-and-down 2015 campaign. He recorded 85 combined tackles, eight passes defended, two interceptions and a forced fumble in 12 games played. Pro Football Focus ranked him as the 34th overall player in the NFL from the 2016 season.
Chancellor spoke about his new deal and hopes to retire as a member of the Seahawks.
