Kam Chancellor’s holdout with the Seattle Seahawks has yet to yield positive results for either side. Kam doesn’t have a new contract and the Seahawks haven’t had success without him.
The Seahawks have started the season 0-2 and their play on the field has shown that they are definitely missing Chancellor and not only his big play ability but also the difference he makes on opposing offenses gameplans.
Chancellor elected to holdout this offseason and miss all of training camp, the preseason and the first two games of the regular season but now, Kam will be heading back to the Seahawks.
Chancellor sent the following message to ESPN’s Stephen A Smith which was brought to us by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Here's what Kam Chancellor texted Stephen A. Smith: "Ima go help my teammates that are understanding of my… https://t.co/QYdNoyWZCq

“Ima go help my teammates that are understanding of my position and the ones who aren’t. God forgives all, why can’t i? Time to help us get back to the big dance . I can address business after the season. Me and Marshawn started a mission 2 years ago. I can’t let my Dawg down….Real talk.”
What Chancellor thinks there is to “forgive” the Seahawks for is very unclear and confusing as he’s the one who decided to hold out while he still had three years left on his contract and put Seattle in an awkward spot. Now that Kam is back, hopefully the Seahawks defense can return to their once dominating level.
