After rising to prominence in 2019, Kaash Paige has arrived with her debut album, Teenage Fever. The new project comes with thirteen tracks and features from Don Toliver, Isaiah Rashad, 42 Dugg and SSGKobe.
Throughout the project, the Texas native showcases her signature brutally honest style. On songs like “Problems,” she dives into the difficulties of handling fame, relationships and money.
“Yeah, I got a lil’ way, young n*gga want peace today/Livin’ off rap like livin’ off crack/Don’t work, don’t get, can’t sleep today/Drop ten, top ten, f*ck that/Came home to the throne where the gang hang out/Where the smoke fill up to the fire/So how that make you feel/Like how that paper feel, empty,” she and Isaiah Rashad rap back and forth.
In the album’s closing tracks, she digs deeper into her bag with tracks like “Mrs. Lonely.”
“Mrs. Lonely/Stuck?in?my thoughts, come?hold me/I’m gettin’ lost on my?lonely,” she sings.
With her sensual production and vulnerable lyrics, Kaash Paige’s Teenage Fever lives up to the hype. Check out the full album above.
