K. Michelle fans, you guys are in for a treat. Now K.Michelle isn’t really known for jumping on records and unleashing remixes but if you watch her show ‘K. Michelle: My Life’ on VH1 you would have learned she is looking to change her sound and go against the grain in how she is perceived in music. This looks to be one of those examples.
If you aren’t checking out her show then you probably are enjoying her latest single ‘Not A Little Bit‘ which is off her upcoming album ‘More Issues Than Vogue’. As for this latest effort though, K. Michelle steps outside of box of R&B singer and decides to give rapping a chance on her ‘Down In The DM’ Remix (K-Mix).
Now considering K. Michelle was previously linked to Safari Samuels (he was on an episode of her show) in the past who just so happens to be Nicki Minaj’s ex, this remix could POSSIBLY raise some eyebrows. Not to mention Nicki was on the official remix with Yo Gotti, plot thickens.
Either way you want to look at it, K. Michelle actually held things down with the slow flow to double time flow on this remix and as she looks to represent for Yo Gotti and Memphis.
