The Miami Heat have kicked off their season in the best way possible, beating the Charlotte Hornets at home. The next game is against the Cleveland Cavaliers who everybody has already given the Eastern Conference to.
But not me, I believe that the Cavs are more vulnerable than people think, and I also think that the Heat can be a legitimate contender come Playoff time. And hopefully the Heat will help my belief by beating the Cavs in their house which just so happens to be the Cavs’ first home game of the season. So saying the Heat will enter a ‘hostile environment’ is an understatement.
One player who took the NBA’s attention the other night was Justise Winslow, who only racked up 5 points in his Rookie debut, but two of those points where thanks to a tasty dunk that was topped of with a boss roar at his teams bench. Now Winslow is known for being a possible two-way player. His defensive ability is very nice, he’s a great man-to-man defender.
And with the Heat @ Cavs coming tonight, Winslow is feeling relatively good about himself, saying that he’ll guard any player put in front of him, even if that player is LeBron James.
Winslow says he’s prepared to guard all of the Cavs’ perimeter players, including LeBron. Says he guarded taller players in college

I’m liking the confidence there! How cool would it be if he locked up LeBron? I’m just dreaming here but that would be just amazing to watch. But hold up, heat head coach Erik Spoelstra is keeping it to the book.
Will we see Winslow on LeBron? Spoelstra: “Depends on how much pressure he puts on us. LeBron tends to force u to go deeper in rotation.” — Ethan J. Skolnick (@EthanJSkolnick) October 29, 2015
Maybe we’ll see Winslow get a chance, maybe he won’t. But it will be a good game tonight. That I know for sure.
