Justin Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay Z earns adds to rotations on all top 40 stations across the U.S., bigger than the first week of “SexyBack” selling 310,078 digital singles back in 2006. “Suit & Tie” broke U.S. radio airplay records earning the biggest song debut, airplay and audience increase for a solo artist ever landing at #14 on the Billboard Top 40 Airplay chart.
With no announcement or promotion and four days of hints from Justin signalling his return to music, the single was released at midnight, Sunday January 14 and reached #1 on the iTunes Singles charts in 31 countries, Dominating music charts across the globe after its worldwide release. Justin’s new single landed in the top 10 on the iTunes Singles charts in 54 other countries and already the #1 most added song on Mediabase. The song has also earned the largest first week spin total at 9394 as well as the largest first week audience at 93.4 million people, as reported by Mediabase, and is currently on rotation with 214 stations across the country.
