Julio Urias has been nothing short of dominant in his recent Triple-A games. His last twenty-seven innings pitched have been scoreless. Urias is just 19 years old, and will be making his debut tomorrow against the New York Mets. The Los Angeles Dodgers called him up from Triple-A after Alex Wood’s start was pushed back until Monday due to soreness in his left triceps. Urias, being just 19, will become the first teenage pitcher since 2012. Because of this, the Dodgers do not want to force Urias to pitch more than needed, so his innings will probably be limited. The Dodgers are also looking to possibly add him to their bullpen. He’ll be a great addition to the Dodger’s pitching staff, which is led by Clayton Kershaw.
