
The family and team of late rapper Juice WRLD have issued a statement after the rapper’s official cause of death has been released.
Juice WRLD, born Jarad Anthony Higgins passed away at the age of 21 on December 8, 2019. For the first time since his death, his family has spoken publically. Together with Juice WRLD’s former team at Grade A, a statement was uploaded to social media discussing the tragic death as well as an upcoming tribute for Juice WRLD.
“You guys meant the entire world to Juice and by listening to his music, watching his videos and sharing your stories about him, you are keeping his memory alive forever. We plan to honor Juice’s talents, his spirit, and the love he felt for his fans by sharing unreleased music and other projects that he was passionately in the process of developing.” details the statement.
Juice WRLD was reportedly laid to rest December 14, 2019 during a private funeral. The official cause of death, issued by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office attributed the fatality to oxycodone and codeine toxicity, ruling the overdose accidental.
