Lil Durk was in court Friday for a probable cause hearing in relation to his alleged involvement in an Atlanta shooting.
WSBTV reports the shooting occurred outside of The Varsity in downtown Atlanta on February 5. A detective has now reported that Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Derrick Banks, can be seen in video footage shooting a man near The Varsity while driving.
The judge on Friday found, “probable cause for Banks and his co-defendant to be charged with possession and criminal intent to commit murder.” Lil Durk’s co-defendant is fellow rapper King Von. The charges the pair face include Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Participation in Criminal Street Gang Activity. Charges also include Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Felony and Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
WSBTV say investigators believe the shooting is gang-related. Lil Durk turned himself in last month.
