Sources have said the JR Smith will be this years Sixth Man of the Year. Smith has the capability of taking over the game at any given time. Although some say his shot selections are a bit shaky at times he has been efficient this year. When the Knicks needed a scorer to step up he was the one that stood up with two game winners this season and also guarding the best player on the court at all times.
Smith ended the season averaging 18.1 ppg, the most of all bench players. At the end of this year he has a player option which he is expected to decline so he can test free agency,
