The Cleveland Cavaliers had a late lead going down the stretch in game three of the 2017 NBA Finals and they were looking to capture the all-important home win and cut into the Warriors series lead. Unfortunately for Cleveland fans, by the end of the night, the Cavs choked away a lead and Kevin Durant came up clutch for the Dubs to take a 3-0 series lead.
The Cavs first got the lead late in the game primarily thanks to stellar performances from LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. For about the first time in this series, the Cleveland finally got some help from a player who wasn’t an All-Star and J.R. Smith was the man who stepped up. He drilled five three’s on the night and scored 16 points in total, the third leading scoring for Cleveland.
The Cavs have their backs against the wall, similar to last season but this time around it’s different. No team has ever come back from down 3-0 but the Cavs know about breaking series-trailing records. They came back from down 3-1 last year and the only way they could win down 3-0 is taking the series all the way to seven games. And it appeared that J.R. Smith thought the Cavs will come back to win the series.
J.R. Smith tweeted ‘Cavs in 7’ but then he quickly deleted it. But as we all know, nothing ever dies on the internet.

Joseph Casciaro of The Score said he talked to J.R. Smith afterward and Smith claimed he was ‘hacked’.
Another case of an NBA player getting ‘hacked’.
Caught J.R. Smith as he was walking out of arena. Says he didn't tweet & account was hacked, but that he likes what the hacker was thinking
