When it comes to journalism and nearly all facets of media, contacts are everything. You need people to help you get where you want to go. And out of those contacts you find respect, you find admiration for your contacts and in time you don’t have to call them acquaintances anymore. You can call them friends. Josh Powell, is a friend of ours. Last season our very own Robert Lopez interviewed Powell and he was a delight, we’ve supported the vet ever since in his endeavors. Recently Powell has been with the Houston Rockets coaching staff. But as it turns out, he has another chance.
When we got word from new Yahoo! Sports insider Shams Charania (props to him by the way) that Josh Powell signed a non-guaranteed deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, we had to salute.
