For the Phoenix Suns, the commencement of the 2017-18 NBA season has brought along with it, tons of adversity. They have already suffered through two 40-point losses and their head coach Earl Watson has also got the boot after just three short games.
To top it all off, their prized rookie Josh Jackson finds himself in some hot water with the league. According to an official press release, Josh Jackson has been fined $35,000 for a ‘menacing’ hand-gun gesture he used towards a fan during the Suns 130-88 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Selected with the 4th overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft, Josh Jackson is expected to immediately come in and give the Suns a two-way presence from the small forward spot, a position they’ve been traditionally weak at.
During the act which he was fined for, Jackson appears to make a gun gesture with his hand and point it at a fan while pulling the imaginary trigger.
As Jackson continues to mature into his NBA career, mental mistakes like these will surely be ironed out.
