Hope you guys do the right thing this weekend and pick up the Jordan Spizike OG, which is coming back for the first time in almost 8 years. I am pretty sure when they first released the limited quantity was something that caused you to miss out but this time around you have a chance now. Keeping true to the OG’s, like I said before and will continue to say nothing like revisiting a classic as long as its done right.
Check out the detailed pictures from Footaction as well as their release details so you can grab a pair when they drop.
Let us know down in the comments if these will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
In October 2006, a groundbreaking Retro hybrid combined elements of the Air Jordan II, IV, V, VI, and XX, which took the sneaker world by storm. The Jordan Spizike OG is a nod to the Retro models that Spike Lee (along with his production company 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks) helped endorse back in the day. The shoe returns in its original colorway dressed in White, Cement Grey, Classic Green and Varsity Red. The sneaker’s upper is mostly smooth white leather with cement elephant print on the heel and red elephant print on the toe. Red accents can be found on the midsole and Jordan branding. Classic green accents can be found on its stylized sock liner in addition to the graphics on the heel. The OG Spizike features a nod to Spike in the form of his Mars Blackmon character on the left heel and the production company logo on the right heel.
