Jordan Peele and Issa Rae are reportedly teaming up for a new project at Universal Studios called Sinkhole.
Purchased for seven figures, the story is written by Leyna Krow. It tells the story of a young family moving into their ideal home despite a gaping sinkhole in the backyard. Mysteriously, the sinkhole manages to fix broken things. Ultimately, the family is left wondering if it can fix a person as well?
Rae will develop the story alongside Peele’s Mokeypaw Productions. Win Rosenfeld, Montre McKay and Sara Rastogi will join the project as producers. For universal, Sara Scott will oversee the film. Meanwhile, Krow will executive produce alongside Alex Davis-Lawrence.
This is just the latest project Rae and Peele have teamed up to complete. Previously, the duo has put together films such as Little and The Photograph.
