In 67 appearances with the Suns last season, Leuer averaged 8.5 points and 5.6 rebounds in just 19 minutes per game.
Leuer, who played for the Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Memphis Grizzlies before signing with Phoenix, is a 26-year old forward that will help bolster the bench in Detroit.
The Pistons have been eyeing Leuer for quite some time now. They value what he brings, ultimately agreeing to ink him to a deal paying roughly $10M annually.
Leuer was selected #40 overall in the 2011 NBA Draft.
