John Wick is being hunted in the first trailer for John Wick Chapter 3 – Parabellum. The trailer picks up where John Wick Chapter 2 left off. John has just killed the gangster Santino D’Antonio on the grounds of The Continental, breaking the rules of the criminal underground. Ian McShane’s Winston is able to give him an hour of grace but every assassin is closing in on John as he is forced to flee New York City.
Beyond that, the trailer doesn’t introduce a ton of new information plotwise but shows John fighting his way out of New York. Halle Berry’s mysterious Sofia is introduced in the trailer as John’s partner of sorts. However, considering the price on his head it’s safe to assume she may betray him by the end of their time working together.
Lawrence Fishburne and Lance Reddick are set to return in John Wick Chapter 3 as Bowery King and Charon, respectively. Notable newcomers visible in the trailer include Mark Dacascos’ Zero and Anjelica Huston, who is listed only as ‘The Director’ on the film’s IMDB page.
