Just months after being traded from Detroit to Los Angeles in January’s blockbuster Blake Griffin trade, Clippers center Boban Marjanovic is already on his way to becoming a movie star, as the 7-foot-3 behemoth will be featured in the newest installment of the John Wick movie franchise, according to Jeff Sneider of the Collider:
Los Angeles Clippers center Boban Marjanovic has joined the cast of John Wick: Chapter 3, multiple sources have told Collider.
Chad Stahelski returns to direct the sure-to-be action-packed sequel, which will feature the Serbian basketball star as an assassin, according to sources. His gigantic hands could end up posing a problem for our badass hero. Marjanovic stands an imposing 7 feet, 3 inches, and he previously played for the San Antonio Spurs and the Detroit Pistons.
Marjanovic’s tall stature and large frame should prove to be an intimidating presence on the big screen, as the Serbia native will reportedly play the role of an assassin in ‘John Wick: Chapter 3’, which will release on May 17, 2019.
Marjanovic averaged 6.0 points and 3.7 rebounds per game in 39 appearances between the Detroit Pistons and the Los Angeles Clippers this season and is heading into the final year of a three-year, $21 million deal he signed with the Pistons in 2016.
