It’s been a weird couple of days for John Wall. First, the Washington Wizards point guard discussed his relationship with Bradley Beal in a not so endearing way. Then, a report came out saying Wall was angry about James Harden’s contract extension and that he keeps an eye out on contract situations around the league.
As that report gained traction, Wall began defending himself. The point guard responded to several media members and fans tweeting about the report in since-deleted tweets.

lol
On Friday, Wall took it to the next level in an Uninterrupted video, denying claims about his jealousy of other players’ contracts:

It’s good to see Wall be candid and explain the allegations against him. However, he has also publicly stated his disdain for Reggie Jackson earning more than him.
This is such an odd story. It’s okay for Wall to feel slighted that he’s making less money than other players. Everyone in the NBA tries to get motivation in any way possible. But it’s also a little strange if he is so distracted by other players’ financial situations.
Regardless, John Wall is adamant that that is not the case.
