Wall has been seen wearing Adidas brand sneakers throughout the season, and now he’s officially off the endorsement market. There had been indications in recent weeks he would soon re-join the company after a two-year hiatus. He turned down a $7.5 million offer from the company back in the fall of 2015 and had been unsigned up until now.
Wall was signed under Reebok before being drafted, signing a five-year deal with $25 million, but his deal was terminated just three years in due to various injuries. He later signed with Adidas and debut his first signature shoe in 2014, around the time he was named to his first All-Star team.
Wall, 27, is averaging 18.5 points, nine assists and 33.7 minutes per contest this season. He’s in his eighth season with the Wizards and was selected by the club No. 1 overall in the 2010 NBA Draft.
Along with Wall, Adidas has other NBA stars such as James Harden, Damian Lillard, Andrew Wiggins, Kristaps Porzingis and Joel Embiid. The details of the deal, along with how much money Wall will make, is unknown at this time.
