Ah Kentucky, one of those programs that simply cannot fail. Literally because it’s impossible for them to be bad, players just flock to them! Does John Calipari even recruit? I bet some players just go “can I please play for you?” and he either says yes or no.
Anyways, Cal has a fairly new squad with some vets sprinkled in and he feels very optimistic about his new roster.
“I’m excited about just how I’m learning more about them, seeing how good this team could be,” Calipari said. “When we have the team that I think we’ll have, it would be again like, ‘What could we do? Where could we go?’
“Like last year, they started thinking this could be crazy. And at the end of the day, it was.“
Calipari then went on to talk about what kind of team they’ll be.
“This may be one of those multiple pick-and-roll teams,” he said, “and could be more of a dribble-drive team than I’ve had here in a while. We have a little bit of everything, and there’s no one like anyone else on the team. … It’s exciting because we’re still gonna be good.“
I personally like Isaiah Briscoe, keep an eye on Freshman Briscoe, kid has skills. And so does most of the Kentucky team, who are we kidding. It’s Kentucky.
