
The Denver Broncos have placed John Bowlen on an indefinite suspension, Bowlen is the son of Broncos owner Pat Bowlen.
Broncos announced they placed John Bowlen Jr. – son of the Broncos’ owner – on indefinite leave of absence for his domestic violence arrest.

John Bowlen was arrested at 10:15 Wednesday night and held on two class 3 misdemeanor counts of third-degree assault and harassment. He appeared in court Thursday and was released on a $1,000 bond. He is due back in court on July 6.
The team released this statement:
“We are disappointed to learn of the matter involving John Bowlen, who is a son of Owner Pat Bowlen and an administrative employee with the organization. While this is a personal issue, he is accountable to all club and league conduct policies. As such, John will be placed on an indefinite leave of absence from the organization.”
Bowlen’s case is the most recent case of domestic violence since Ray McDonald and Antonio Smith. Bowlen’s case also marks the second time a the child of a Broncos executive was arrested. Last year the son of Broncos GM John Elway, Jack Elway, was arrested in May 2014 on charges of disturbing the peace and assaulting his then-girlfriend.
