The Chicago Bulls acquired Lauvergne from the Oklahoma City Thunder, along with Cameron Payne, last February.
Before his OKC days, Lauvergne began his career with the Denver Nuggets. For his career, Lauvergne has averaged 6.1 points and four assists per game. He’s flashed outside shooting ability, though not consistently (29.3 percent for his career). In 50 games with the Thunder, he shot 34.6 percent, but in Chicago (20 games), that number dipped to 30 percent.
Lauvergne was a restricted free agent. The Bulls originally extended the qualifying offer to him, but later withdrew it.
