The past two games have been beautiful for the Miami Heat. Joe Johnson has settled in nicely, helping the Heat win his first game away and at home.
Both games very notable. With his first game against the Knicks having the fans at MSG chanting “Let’s Go Heat” and his first home game against the Chicago Bulls, helping rack up one of the most efficient games we’ve seen in some time. It’s no surprise that Joe Johnson has come in at the same time the Heat play some of their best games of the season.
Johnson has showed love to the Heat organisation since he’s signed with them, while also throwing shade at his 2 past employers, the Brooklyn Nets and the Atlanta Hawks.
Joe Johnson: “I feel rejuvenated. I love this fresh start.”

Joe Johnson says the past 2 games are the most he’s run in “7, 8, 9” years.

Yes Joe! Just with those two statements he’s won Heat hearts. Now we know that the Heat and Joe Johnson are planning to work out a multi-year deal after this season, attempting to finish Joe’s career in a Heat uniform and I have 0 qualms with that. Just as long as it isn’t for the deal he has been on for the past couple of years.
The Heat are currently watching Hassan Whiteside with some tears coming through, imagining what could be if they somehow could afford him. The Heat do not need Joe Johnson making life harder in terms of the cap.
