
Last summer, many grew concerned with the number of viable candidates seeking the Democratic Party’s nomination. Over the last year, we have seen a number of candidates fall out of the race including Sen. Kamala Harris, Sen. Cory Booker and former Gov. Deval Patrick. More recently, Tom Steyer, former Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Sen. Elizabeth Warren exit the race. As we near November, only three names remain, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders. Tonight, the trio fights to secure their share of delegates across six states.

One of those important states is Missouri. The voters in that state have cast their ballots and made their voices heard. According to the AP, Joe Biden is projected to win the Missouri Democratic Party Election.
In 2016, former Sen. Hillary Clinton defeated Sen. Bernie Sanders. From there, she went on to secure the party’s nomination. Only time will tell if this year’s winner will have the same fortune.
