Things continue to shift in the way of the former Vice President. Joe Biden is projected to win the Arkansas Democratic Primary. With the win, he surges forward to a total of 152 delegates at the moment. Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders sits in second with 110 delegates at the moment. Following behind, Elizabeth Warren and Michael Bloomberg sit in a distant third and fourth place.
In the state of Arkansas, 31% of precincts have reported their totals as of now according to AP. Of that 31%, Biden earned 35% of the vote while Sanders has earned 20.9% of the vote. Not far behind, Bloomberg has performed well in the state of Arkansas with 19.4% of the reported vote so far. If he holds at that position, he will pick up a few delegates in the Razorback state.
This win adds another state in the southeast to Biden’s belt. Tonight he has won Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Alabama. Not to mention, he scored a victory in South Carolina over the weekend.
