Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden will hold his first joint press conference with his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, today in Delaware. Biden formally announced that Harris would be his running mate yesterday via social media. Immediately after his announcement, LeBron James, Barack Obama and a number of others took to Twitter to congratulate the former California State Attorney General.
.@JoeBiden can unify the American people because he's spent his life fighting for us. And as president, he'll build an America that lives up to our ideals.
I'm honored to join him as our party's nominee for Vice President, and do what it takes to make him our Commander-in-Chief.
