President Joe Biden will reportedly appear on an upcoming episode of Complex’s 360 With Speedy Morman. Biden follows his former running mate, Barack Obama, as the second President to appear on the show. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Obama sat down for a nearly hour-long interview with Morman at Washington, D.C.’s historic restaurant — Ben’s Chili Bowl. The two talked about Trump’s presidency, his new memoir and if Drake was the right person to portray him in a biopic.
“I love how everyone here is so happy for Speedy,” one YouTube commenter said about the interview.
“Speedy is really good at this. [He] should be given his own big show,” another comment reads.
Morman is not the only member of the press to sit down with President Biden this month. On Monday, July 15, NBC Nightly News will reportedly air an interview with the President and Lester Holt. Sources close to the show say it should last “at least 15 minutes,” but did not offer additional details beyond the duration of the conversation.
Prior to sitting down with Morman and Holt, President Joe Biden sat down for a 22-minute interview with George Stephanopoulos. With an average of 8.5 million viewers tuning in, Biden discussed his performance in the first presidential debate and addressed those who are concerned he’s not physically or mentally fit for office at his current age.
“Are you the same man today that you were when you took office three-and-a-half years ago?” Stephanopoulos asked.
“In terms of successes, yes…I also was the guy who put together a peace plan for the Middle East that may be comin’ to fruition. I was also the guy that expanded NATO. I was also the guy that grew the economy. All the individual things that were done were ideas I had or I fulfilled. I moved on,” Biden answered.
