Joakim Noah took an early Christmas vacation due to a little tear in his left shoulder, which must not have hindered the Chicago Bulls much because Noah is not exactly flourishing in Fred Hoiberg’s system. Joakim Noah won’t say it but he did much better in Thibodeau’s system. These are facts at this moment in time. I mean this injury might have proved that it’s possibly time for the Bulls to trade Noah and get something for the future. Sorry to say it but at this point, Joakim isn’t cutting it on the court.
Regardless, it’s better to have him than not have him and now he will hopefully return Monday against the Washington Wizards.
“Hopefully we’ll get him back on Monday,” Hoiberg said before Saturday’s game. “He’s doing some activity today. We’ll get him doing some live stuff [Sunday]. Hopefully he’ll get through a full practice. That’s the biggest thing with him right now, just getting through a live practice. Hopefully we’ll get him back Monday.“
The Chicago Bulls have Jimmy Butler who’s balling, Derrick Rose is doing fine, Bobby Portis has come out of nowhere to be a low key beast. Joakim will just slot back in continuing to be the spirit of the Chicago Bulls.
