Last night during the Chicago Bulls victory over the Washington Wizards there was an intense interior battle between Bulls big man Joakim Noah and Wizards big man Nene.
Nene came out and admitted that he does hates the Bulls and he wasn’t afraid to show it in Chicago. He took his hatred and anger out on Noah with a hard foul.
Nene smacked Joakim Noah in the face as Noah came down the lane to put up a layup, but other than going at Nene and confronting him, Noah was able to contain his emotions.
Noah explained how he managed to maintain his composure.
The video he is referring too is his new non-violence video that he produced as a part of his ‘Noah’s Arc Foundation’.
Physically Retaliating in the NBA either gets you fined or suspended, as we’ve seen recently with the scuffles during the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat game when Markieff Morris also had a hard foul along with Hassan Whiteside and Alex Len getting tangled. Also, James Harden’s actions towards LeBron James warranted a suspension.
With the Bulls already playing shorthanded because of injuries to Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler and Taj Gibson, Joakim Noah ultimately did what was best for the squad at the end of the day.
