The Los Angeles Clippers have been the only team that hasn’t had some sort of injuries in their team. All their players have been reasonably healthy. Which was why when they started the season and they didn’t perform. I ditched them immediately. For most of the season they’ve had a clean bill of health, yet they were still losing games they should’ve dominated.
Now they’re winning games with conviction. They should’ve done since day 1 but I digress.
JJ Redick is a solid player but unfortunately he’s very injury prone. And according to ESPN.com, Redick is out indefinitely with back spasms.
After the game, Clippers coach Doc Rivers wasn’t sure when Redick would be able to return.
Redick hurt his back on the final play of last Monday’s game against the Denver Nuggets and missed Wednesday’s game against the Utah Jazz with back spasms. He returned and started the Clippers’ previous two games against the New Orleans Pelicans and San Antonio Spurs before being pulled early against Brooklyn.
“It’s just spasms,” Rivers said. “I think it’s from that hit [against Denver]. He probably shouldn’t have played, who knows, but we’re just going to rest him until he’s right.“
Rivers is right. It’s just back spasms. But it is JJ Redick. He always gains some sort of injury during the season.
