While we’ve expected this news for a while, Jimmy Graham tweeted this morning “It’s official I’m bleeding black and gold this morning!”. Via ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the deal is said to be 40 million over four years, making Jimmy the highest paid tight end in the league. Many would argue that Jimmy is more deserving of Wide Receiver pay after putting up 3,863 yards and 41 touchdowns in just his first four years of play. The contract however guarantees Jimmy 21 million, and the ability to become a free agent after year three.
