The Chicago Bulls had a decent three games. I only say decent because they won them. Jimmy Butler has been essential in this series. If the Bulls need points, Butler is there. Lock down defense? Jimmy is your man. He has been the leader of that team. Derrick Rose may be the most covered but we all expect round the clock DRose coverage.
Now the Bulls have lost twice even though they’ve been on match point. The series is now at 3-2 and Milwaukee has the momentum. Butler knows this and pleas that the Bulls play better defense.
“I’m supposed to be the prime-time defensive guy, and I haven’t been guarding a soul. I’ve been worried about offense too much, and I need to change that quickly or it’s going to be my fault.”
“I’m not concerned,” Butler said. “We’re confident. We’re a good team. I think we’re going to show it in the next game. We continue to say it and we haven’t done it, but I’m confident that we will.“
The Bulls are getting me sweating. They should’ve clinched this series by now. This has gone on for too long. What are they going to do when LeBron James and Kyrie Irving are in front of them instead of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jerryd Bayless.
