The Chicago Bulls are struggling a little. Even though they’re only 2 games behind the Cleveland Cavaliers and are only 4th in the East. The players are a little down. Derrick Rose thinks he’s playing like no.2 (you know what I mean) and Jimmy Butler is noticing that the team isn’t playing hard regularly.
Speaking of Butler, he’s showing great leadership now that everybody knows what’s up. He’s even playing through injury.
Jimmy Butler sat at his locker with his left shoe on and right foot waiting for the same procedure.
Only he gingerly took his time putting his right Air Jordan shoe on, grimacing at every movement following the Bulls’ 104-92 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Friday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
“Man I don’t know what it is, but I’m playing through it,” he told CSNChicago.com in the locker room afterwards.
When asked if he needs an MRI, Butler replied, “Maybe. I’m not sure.”
I don’t know how players do their thing when they don’t even know what’s wrong with them. If I had foot pain I would want to know what’s up immediately. I could sneeze once and go to myself “Alright where’s the hayfever tab? Where’s my cup of tea”. I have to get that sorted by the end of the day and this guy is playing professional basketball with a foot injury. Props to you Jimmy Butler.
