There have been questions surrounding the relationship between the two members of the Chicago Bulls’ backcourt –Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler– ever since Butler leapt to star status a season ago. Time and time again, reports of bad blood between the two surface, and time and time again Butler and Rose deny that it’s true.
Butler is tired of discussing this topic, says K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune:
Butler on co-existing w/ Rose: "C'mon, man. That (expletive) always comes up when people lose. I'm tired of talking about that (expletive)."

You can’t deny Butler for being annoyed. He has been asked about this same topic repeatedly, and the questions persist even when he says that there aren’t any issues.
The Bulls, who were officially eliminated from playoff contention yesterday, will watch the postseason from home for the first time since the 2007-08 season.
This season in 65 starts for the Bulls, Butler has averaged 21 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.7 steals in 37.2 minutes per game. His points and assists averages mark career-highs. However, Butler has shot just 30.7% from distance, down 7.1% from his mark last season.
