After months of anticipation, more details about the Jimi Hendrix biopic starring Andre 3000 has been revealed.
According to Vibe, the John Ridley [12 Years a Slave] written and directed film, Jimi: All Is By My Side, will hit theaters on June 13th.
Details about the release are scares, but with an actual theatrical release date, rumors of a TV release can now be put to an end.
For years, there have been rumors of a new Jimi Hendrix biopic and it was finally shot last year in Dublin.
Variety reported a week ago that the film was chosen to open The Seattle Film Festival on May 15th.
Jimi: All Is By My Side also stars Imogen Poots, Hayley Atwell, Ruth Negga and Burn Gorman.
