VAMP LIFE x Roc Nation. Who would have thought? I definitely didn’t see this pairing ever taking place. Yes, Jim Jones, the Diplomat is the newest signee to Roc Nation. What looks like a smart business on Jimmy’s behalf, of course, it is pretty much all about positioning himself with the best possible chance to capitalize with his music. Considering he’s been pretty much independent his whole career this will certainly be a change for the Harlem-rep.
Since announcing his signing with Roc Nation, Capo has been the talk of the blogs, social, etc. But it is his recent interview with Hot 97 and Funk Flex that has raised awareness throughout the Hip Hop community. If you haven’t seen the interview it is certainly one to check out.
First order of business as the new guy with the Paper Plane Hat Gang is to drop some new music of course. Now we know Jim is no stranger to getting a hit record.
